Blade Runner Software Description
Blade Runner is an Adventure, Point-and-Click, and Single-player video game developed by Westwood Studios and published by Virgin Interactive. The game isn’t considering the direct adaption of 1982’s movie Blade Runner, it serves as a side-sequel, unfolding an original storyline, which will run parallel to the plot of the movie.
It takes place in Los Angeles, and the game sees the player unfolding the story of Ray McCoy (the protagonist). According to the story, the protagonist is a detective who is charged with hunting down a team of replicants. The player navigates the environment from a third-perspective and controls the character by using the point-and-click interface.
There are four different pointer styles, such as a Standard Pointer, Green Pointer, Animated Blue Pointer, and Red Pointer. The main focus of the game is on detective work rather than solving a series of puzzles or participating in battles. Throughout the game, the player may solve compulsory problems to progress the story, find specific clues to solve the mystery, and more. With detailed graphics, superb mechanics, and beautiful features, Blade Runner is an exciting game to play.
